In the chapter “Risks and Opportunities of New Technologies,” Timur Kadyshev and colleagues from IFSH, INEF, PRIF (HSFK), and bicc analyze the dual-use dilemma: civilian innovations can often also be used for military purposes and must be safeguarded against misuse.
